I think it was interesting how in the reading it explained how ethnographers would go through a typical study with the steps of questions they ask and the interviewing that they have to do in order to have proper data. This reading gives us the the background and insights of who to ask during an interview and how to start. This is good and it can tell us a lot about a culture be we have to be carful that we know our limits and how the data will be perceived by others. I agree with the fact that since the schools budget for extracurricular learning has been taken away that leaves no room for them to learn about the technical knowledge needed to keep up with the students. I think that the whole concept of referring everything back to Roger the juggler really gives it that more of a real feeling. The author really is walking us through the footnotes and the conceptual memo and giving examples to relate to that topic this way we can somewhat understand ethnography. I felt that this reading was difficult to understand because I feel that it's written so professionally that for a reader with no background knowledge may not understand.
